Do you only see Christians?
No! I work with all faiths. You do not have to be Christian to be a client.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! I currently accept United Healthcare and Cigna. I am in the process of onboarding with BCBS and Tricare.
What are your fees?
Individual sessions are $125.00.
Couple and family sessions are $150.00.
I have never been to a therapist before. What can I expect?
I believe it is important for clients to feel comfortable and relaxed with me. I believe a trusting relationship of acceptance, support, encouragement, and a non-judgmental atmosphere are essential for healing to occur. After your first contact with me, you will receive a packet of basic information to complete and return. We will meet for an initial consultation in which we will have the opportunity to meet. The initial consultation gives you the opportunity to determine if I am the right fit for you. It also gives me the opportunity to determine if I am able to help you achieve your goals or if another provider would be more beneficial for you. Every person has a unique set of needs and I tailor my approach to the needs of each individual client.
Will you tell anyone what we discuss in sessions?
NO! Sessions are confidential. A confidentiality agreement is completed with every client. There may be instances in which you want information shared with members of your healthcare team or other professionals. In these instances, a Release of Information is completed by the client detailing the information to be shared and with whom to share it. This is completely at the discretion of the client. An additional limit to confidentiality is in cases in which you may be a danger to yourself or others, and instances in which abuse or neglect to children, adults, and elders is suspected.
How long do sessions last and how often will we meet?
The needs of each client will determine the length and frequency of sessions. Typically, sessions are 50 minutes and are held weekly or every other week. Sessions could be longer or shorter, and more or less frequent depending on client goals, needs, and therapist availability.

INSPIRE Christian Counseling Center, PLLC is located at 327 N. Queen Street, Suite 107 in Kinston, NC. We are inside the Kinston Enterprise Center, across the street from the Kinston Community Health Center.
